Also traveling with us is my kid's Grandma, my wife's mom. She is from Berlin, and it is her family that we will be staying with while we are there. Maddie and Grandma have a special connection and they regularly correspond by email. I have included a photo of them. This is a better photo of Maddie than the others I have posted.
