This afternoon we went to the Smoky Mountain National Park. We traveled about 15 miles into the park and were about to walk to the waterfall, but a storm blew in with a weather warning so we turned around and went back to the cabin. We did get to see turkey and several deer. So that it would feel like a real vacation, we visited a historic church with a cemetery outside. This was all part of the Cade's Cove area of the park.
After we came home the rain blew over and we went zip-lining. It was great. There were three different runs we did. We were only going to do one, but when we started we couldn't stop until we had done them all.

The kids have gone down to the river to swim and Karen and Kelli are fixin' chicken and corn on the cob for dinner.
