Dark In The City, Night Is A Wire

G-man checked his game camera again today. He picked up a few more of our native mammals. We are hoping to catch them all on film. We are still looking for a bobcat, fox, possum, raccoon, and armadillo. We probably can't get a live beaver on camera, but if they come back (they're gone for now) we may try and catch them at the spillway.

Today he got one picture of a skunk.

And several pictures of the wily coyote.

We have a few pictures of hogs, but no real good ones.  We are still waiting on a better one than this from a few weeks ago. These hogs were searching for a midnight snack.

While not mammals, we have a few pictures of birds. We got this when we were putting out corn. In this picture of a hawk, you can see a crow harassing him, as he enjoyed breakfast.

This crane we see regularly at our pond was having corn for lunch.

Here are a few buzzards. These ugly rascals were eating Christmas leftovers. In particular, a turkey carcass.
