There were volunteers from Chapel Hill, Whitehouse, and Troup before it was over. I guess since my neighbor called they all showed up at my house and went through my pasture (and yard) to get to the fire. (They could have gotten to it much easier from a road on the other side, but it's several miles around.) The Fire Marshall said it appeared to start at an abandoned cabin near my property. The cabin had been vandalized, but surprisingly it didn't burn.
When G-man got home and the fire was under control he road the 4wheeler up to the top of the hill and my neighbor told him to go over and look at the cabin. When he got there, there was a lady inside, and G-man asked her if she lived there. She told him, no, she was the fire investigator. She quizzed him about who he was, where he lived and where he went to school. He must have looked suspicious with his bald head.

Suspicious?
