Meet George Jetson. His Boy Elroy

This afternoon we left the city and went back to the horse farm. The kids helped with brushing and cleaning the horses, and they all rode for a couple of hours.

The kids had a good time playing. Louisa's friend Kimi was also there. She rode to the farm with Marcus on his motorcycle.

Maddie lost a tooth while we were there. She said it was her last baby-tooth. I'm not sure.

At the end, we walked to the farm next door and purchased some asparagus and strawberries. It is asparagus picking season and they were in the field today harvesting it. It's not the asparagus I'm used to. It is very large and totally white. Markus said it is white until it emerges and is exposed to the sun. So in effect this is the root of the asparagus. It tastes the same as the green, but not as tough.

Garrett rode back from the farm with Markus on the back of his motorcycle. He really liked it.

Almut fixed another great dinner for us all. It consisted of asparagus with sauce, potatoes, ham, salmon, eggs, and Louisa fixed a croissant with cheese.

Before dinner, and for contrast of riding a horse and motorcycle,  Markus let the boys ride his jet pack in the back yard.

  1. Looks like you are keeping busy. John Deere tractors! Are you sure the boys had jet packs or are they just jumping in the air? Does the tooth fairy come to Germany?

    Tell everyone hello. (mom)(Y.)
